In General,

I am a creative person who has a serious book buying problem.

Books are my comfort, my love, my escape. Everything you’ve probably heard before, but I don’t know how else to explain my infatuation with books.

I completed my Bachelor in English with a Creative Writing Concentration in 2017 (my last project was the completion of my second novel!). Throughout my degree I took part in many writing workshops, traveled some of Europe, studied in Ireland, became Vice President of my university’s creative writing club (where I led a small series of workshops based on world building and descriptive writing), and honed my passion for the written word. Currently I’m working on my third novel, slowly setting up my Patreon, writing full-time for a local brand management company, and attempting to learn how to paint and sketch.

Oooh, I also ride horses, nerd out over video games and anime, and annoy the HECK out of my boyfriend every chance I get.

As a Reviewer:

Reading has always taken up most of my time. So I decided I may as well begin reviewing. That’s all there is to it, really. Pretty exciting stuff.

As an Author:

Here’s my author bio I slap wherever I can:

When Abrianna was only eight years old, she ‘wrote’ her first book and created imaginary worlds and scenarios that actually quite worried her family. “Will she ever be able to tell what is fantasy and not fantasy?” They asked themselves. Luckily, she simply grew up into what we call a writer. Akairya is her first novel, and she lives in Chilliwack, British Columbia, where she rides horses and plays too many video games.

The Fractured Soul is a two-part story, the first being Akairya. Available on Amazon and select bookstores in her local town, Akairya is a fast paced introduction to the world of Alkairyn and the sickness that plagues it.
